This quest is the first part of the Magical Power of Water quest line. It is required to obtain the Green Totem, which is later used in Magical Power of Water – Part 2 .

Requirements

• Level 74+
• Ketra Alliance: You must possess a Mark of Ketra’s Alliance at least Level 2 (Level 2–5 is accepted).

• Green Totem
• Divine Stone of Wisdom (required for 3rd class change)

1) Start the Quest

Talk to Ketra's Messenger Wahkan to start the quest. He will send you to Asefa.

2) Speak with Asefa

Go to Asefa and talk to her to continue the quest. After speaking with her, you will be instructed to infiltrate the Varka Silenos area.

3) Trigger Udan Mardui’s Watcher Eye

Travel to the Varka Silenos area. While the quest is active, the first time you attack a Varka Silenos in the field, the quest will spawn Eye of Udan Mardui near you. This is a scripted detection mechanic (Watcher’s Gaze).

4) Obtain the Stolen Green Totem

Buy a Thief Key from a town shop, then locate Udan Mardui’s Box in the Varka Silenos area. Use the key to attempt to steal the totem.

• Required: Thief Key (consumed on use).
• If you use the key under the correct quest state, you will obtain Stolen Green Totem.
• If you are in the wrong quest state (i.e., you were detected), the key may be consumed without receiving the totem.

5) Return to Asefa

Return to Asefa with the Stolen Green Totem. She will exchange it for:

• Green Totem
• Divine Stone of Wisdom
