This quest allows a Clan Academy member to obtain the special Clan Oath D-Grade armor. Head Blacksmith Newyear can craft this armor, but the Academy member must work together with their assigned Sponsor.

Requirements

1) Start the Quest

Talk to Head Blacksmith Newyear in the Town of Schuttgart. He explains that he can craft a special armor set available only for members of the Clan Academy.

2) Hunt Bruin Lizardmen

Newyear asks you to collect materials needed to begin crafting the armor. Go south of the Town of Schuttgart and hunt Bruin Lizardmen.

• Required amount: 10

3) Return to Newyear

After collecting 10 Bruin Lizardman Blood, return to Head Blacksmith Newyear. He will ask you to choose which type of Clan Oath armor you want to receive.

4) Choose Your Armor Type

You must choose one of three armor types. This choice determines both the final reward and the amount of D-Grade Crystals your Sponsor must provide.

• Heavy Armor: requires 922 D-Grade Crystals
• Light Armor: requires 771 D-Grade Crystals
• Robe Armor: requires 771 D-Grade Crystals

5) Get Help from Your Sponsor

At this stage, your Sponsor must bring the required D-Grade Crystals to Head Blacksmith Newyear. The Sponsor must be online and close enough to the Academy member for the quest step to progress.

• The Sponsor provides the required D-Grade Crystals.
• The Sponsor must be near the Academy member during the hand-in step.
• If the Sponsor is missing, offline, or too far away, the quest will not progress correctly.

6) Return to Newyear After the Sponsor Helps

Once your Sponsor has delivered the required crystals, speak with Head Blacksmith Newyear again. He will continue the crafting process and send you to collect the final monster materials.

7) Hunt Picot Araneid

Newyear asks you to defeat Picot Araneid and collect its legs. This monster can be found southwest of the Town of Schuttgart.

8) Complete the Quest

After collecting 8 Picot Araneid’s Legs, return to Head Blacksmith Newyear. He completes the crafting process and gives you the selected Clan Oath D-Grade armor set.
